I live in the southeast as well.

But it's definitely something I'd like to do :)

lol, I should have read this thread before posting in another. :P  I was actually thinking along the same lines.. making it somewhat simultaneous for people in different locations.  Of course, with the time difference it would get pretty tricky, but it would be pretty cool if it did in fact work. :P

I would like to point out that DC is NOT in the southeast. Thank you. :P

Technically it is considered the southeast...Because it's not northeast, and there is no MIDDLE of the east :P

Just a thought. :P (That's probably too big to start with... maybe we should just start by the different locales hooking up and setting up times and locations to meet up (such as the Europe people are sorta already doing in this thread :P)

I'd love to attend one of these, but it ain't gonna happen anytime soon. My parents would never allow me. But will there by chance be a meeting anywhere near Massachusetts? Because that's the particular state I happen to live in... Plane travel is out of the question for me. Driving is a possibility, once I actually obtain a license. (I tried applying for my permit twice, failed both times... Though I am having my third try next week sometime...). But anyway I definitely would like to meet some of the forumers in person, but I don't know if I'll be able to attend in any way (it sucks not being 18 years old. That's the magic number here in the states...) If I had my license I could just drive down myself and my parents wouldn't be able to stop me...

Eh. Once you turn 18, you don't magically become self-sufficient, so your parents still pretty much rule your life. :P Though they might be more likely to let you go if you've proven maturity by getting to 18 without doing anything remarkably stupid. XP
