Depends on the error message. But try dropping the database tables (if there's nothing important in there) and try again.

Why do some bowls I warm my milk in get really hot in the microwave (instead of the milk :/) and some not?

Some ceramics contain materials that absorb microwaves (converting them to heat). An easy way to test whether a bowl/plate/cup is suitable for use in the microwave is to put the empty container in the microwave along with a cup/mug of water and turn it on. The water should get hot. If the empty container also gets hot, it's not ideal for use in the microwave. (The water was there because you can damage the microwave by running it without anything that absorbs microwaves.)
