I have only read the first two books... I don't think it stands up well to LotR actually (I read that first), but I recognize that they are very different styles of writing that while in the same genre effectively serve different audiences. [reading LotR first and then reading HP is like watching The Never-Ending Story (or similar older high fantasy movie) and then watching an episode of Charmed or Buffy]

I found my lab book and cell culture notebook, met with Dr. Curtis, and am now going to go talk to the finance office to make sure I get on the payroll for the other lab. Today has been surprisingly good, and the weather is holding up nicely.

It was rough, but it's good now.  Like I said in another post, I bought The Lorax, so life is better.

Yep.  It sucks.  There's something about driving to school when the moon is still bright in the sky that breaks my heart...

Old memories and good things that change. Cruelty towards others is a close second, i wish the whole world could get along in a nice way.

Are you generally feeling happy right now?

Let's see. I was happy to spend time with friends playing video games last night. I was happy that it snowed. I was happy to come home from my friend's place today (got snowed in ... it never snows in GA). I was happy right up until I found some drama waiting for me at home and online. I'll weather this and get back to you.

I do the same thing, don't worry.  I overanalyze everything, so I don't consider it a bad thing.

Do you think the song "Invisible" by Clay Aiken is as creepy as I think it is?  (No, I'm not a Clay fan--I just heard it on a commercial and it's stuck in my head.  )
