I'm back. DMD is back. DMD is back with new vigor.

It is Christmas, hopefully it is was a merry one for all, and for all a good night. I hope everyone got what they wanted, but anyways what did you want.....and what did you get? I don't know.......I don't know. I got a few books, a few movies and a few games.

Hi

As people are probably wondering- the ''Second Resurrection'' thing is supposed to mean, that my 1st resurrection was my first post on this board. I hope to have 8 resurrections and then I shall leave most likely.
I hope it is like this:

3rd Ressurection-
2 months-30 posts

and so on.

Ok if it makes you upset......then I wont leave....

I mean, you are free to leave if you like, but... it would be sorta silly to leave the presence of such sublime folks as these, would it not? ;D

Anyhoo. I got $20 from my mom, a Walmart gift card of an as-yet unknown amount from my roomie's mom, and a pair of slippers from my roomie's grandma. Seeing as how I didn't have any money to buy anyone anything this year, that's $20, a Walmart gift card of an as-yet unknown amount, and a pair of slippers too many in my book. :-\

Well, I'd rather I didn't get any gifts at all... I strongly dislike gifts in general, since I don't like getting things I feel like I didn't earn. Especially when I can't even at least partially make up for the matter by having given the gift-giver some gifts as well. :(

Well, the gift from my mom isn't all that sweet... it came in a card with a letter whose contents boiled down to "Don't get me anything, and I'm not going out this year, so don't bother." The money ended up having to go to my roomie for bills, anyway.

The slippers from his grandma are nice, but I'm going to have to return them... my roomie technically also bought me slippers for Xmas, and while his grandma's slippers are nice, they're way too warm for my feet, where the ones from my roomie aren't. Not that I have any idea what I'm going to do with Filene's store credit... (Filene's is about as rich, upper class as a store gets in Western MA... not my type of place at all.) ...oh, well, maybe my roomie can think of something he'd want.

Not sure what I'd end up buying with the Walmart card, since they usually don't have anything I need, either... maybe just laundry detergent now and then.

(Which is more reasons why I hate gifts... I don't like buying things unless I have a practical use for them... which means I either have to specifically state what I need that a person might buy me (which kind of sucks the fun out of it... may as well just borrow the money from them and be done with it :P ), or 99% of the time I have a gift I have no use for, unless the person knows me *really* well. So I either have to return it, give it away to someone who could use it, or it sits around and collects dust, none of which makes me very happy.)

wb for your second resurrection.

Didn't get anything for Christmas this year either (except wishing cards and e-mails ofcourse), but I don't really need these materialistic(?sp) things. It's the thought that counts, and by sending me those cards and e-mails (my close family does it personally ofcourse) I know my friends are thinking about me, so that's enough.
