Oh, wouldn't I? Hehehe, you don't me and bets ;-) You bet I can't or wouldn't do something, and you only ensure that I will.  I'll even take a picture of me with the lovely bottle! ;D

Well... 'like' is a relative term... I'll see you on the fields of battle, Mango!  :o

I'm currently far too busy to feel depressed about not being able to attend the audition. And anway, the mucho pics and small stories about the trip at least makes me feel somewhat connected, but I'll always have that nagging feeling in the back of my head.
Team, please make sure you release KQ IX at a 'better' time, so I can at least attend the inauguration party. 8)

Heheh, oh yeah!  And we'd probably be partying both before and after the release date!  I know I will be, at least heheh.   :D

Don't feel bad, Dragonstar... I don't like my voice either.

It's like, with my speaking style my voice could almost be kind of elegant and eloquent sounding... except that it's too high-pitched, soft, ditzy, and breathy-sounding. (And not like sexy Marilyn Monroe breathy either, but more like "Help, I'm not getting enough oxygen" breathy.)

And then there's my tendency to mispronounce words, and to stutter and stammer. Every time we had to read stuff aloud in class, I would start frantically thinking up excuses to leave class for a while.

Jeysie

Hmm. Yonkey, I think you messed up somewhere with splitting threads...

Peace & Luv, Liz

Yonkey

Nah, we just want to keep the official thread in General for questions related to the auditions.  Dragonstar's post is in this thread too, just higher up cuz of the time.   ;D

Jeysie

Ahhh, I see. ...maybe we should have created that "OMG, my voice sucks!" thread we joked about after all? :suffer:

Peace & Luv, Liz

Say

yeah, you can post about that as long as you dont do it on the official threads.

Hey, I was just replying to Dragonstar's post... (innocent look) ;)

KatieHal

personlly, I'm partying already. Right now. Why isn't anyone else here?!?!?!  ;-D

Hehe.

Oh, no one sounds good reading aloud or answering stuff in class. Not a one.

And don't worry Liz, we like your voice just fine! :-D

Heh. Well, in my case it's because I read too quickly. So not only was I bored keeping to the snail pace of the class reading aloud, but whenever I read aloud myself my brain would go faster than my mouth, so I'd end up stuttering and stammering the whole thing. Actually, I still end up doing that. :P

Which only proves that you're insane. ;)

I myself read rather quick too, especially as long as I don't have to rad out loud, but when I have to read out loud, my reading speed lowers enough for my mouth to keep up. That is a normal reaction, you read slower if you have to read out loud. My problem is, my mind continuously switches topics, so it's hard for me to keep focused (which is also the reason why it's easy for me to forget something that happened no more than a minute ago). Most of the time the current task swithes back into focus enough to keep focused on that task. Even I mix up sentences though, but I guess that's also just normal behavior. :-\

Oh, and Jeysie, at least your singing voice is just fine. :-*

Heh. Well, I do like my singing voice marginally better than my speaking voice. Unfortunately for you folks, I don't have a singing part. ;) (Very unfortunately for you folks, my roomie doesn't have a singing part, either. ;) ;D )

Peace & Luv, Liz

Oldbushie

Yes, great singing! :D And you sounded perfectly fine up in NYC despite the throat-scarring cold. ;)

Heh. Yeah, the cold/allergies didn't affect my voice much, it just made me come close to coughing up a lung on a few occasions. :P

I'm sure he'd be perfectly willing to if you taught it to him... mostly because he's willing to sing just about anything if you teach it to him. ;D But unless he pesters Mike enough ;) he prolly won't get any official singing bits.
