Question about some dialogue...

I feel like I know what the answer to this is going to be, but I thought I'd take a shot at asking anyway.

Is the dialogue that was released about Alexander in one of the journal entries going to be in the released stuff?

i.e.,
GRAHAM: Edgar, you met the same fate as my son. You were taken...

GRAHAM: I know it is somehow imprudent, but... can you tell me about Alexander...

And I guess while I'm on the subject, what about the audio file with him and Sarah (though I highly doubt it)?

The conversation with Edgar is in Chapter 2, but the one between Alex & Sarah isn't.

Awww, that's too bad. I've been very curious about that one, wondering why Alex is being charged with treason and what circumstances forced him to dress up as a solider.

well Im glad the edgar one is, but I would've liked the Alex/Sarah one a lot as well!

I'd be a lot more curious as to how you charge a King with treason, in the absence of a parliamentary system. "I am the State."

I got the impression that he was being charged in Daventry, where he isn't The Law. They were talking about Connor being loyal to his kingdom, and he's from Daventry, isn't he?

On that topic, should I bother picking up Mask of Eternity, or would a summary of the game suffice? I've not heard good things about it.

No, I didn't mean that Connor was talking, I meant that they were talking about Connor. Like, Connor is loyal to Daventry, so if Alex was somehow accused of treason in Daventry it would be different than if he was accused in the place where he was king.

So the audio file with Alex and Sarah doesn't appear in the game? Oh, that's a shame. I was really looking forward to that. But, at least we get Edgar. As for your question about MoE, Jachra, personally you may just be better watching a youtube playthrough of it or reading a summary. For one, the game is ridden with bugs, and the few patches sierra released didn't fix them all. Also, the involves fighting and combat. It's not adventure anymore. It turned into Tomb Raider, King's Quest Style (Don't get me wrong; Tomb Raider was AMAZING, but the formula just doesn't fit King's Quest all that well...). So no, you shouldn't buy Mask of Eternity, though it would be good to brush up on the important story elements of the game, especially the mask of Eternity itself, as it's been stated that elements of the game appear in TSL. Though, that was all said before the rest of the game got axed... I was kind of hoping we could get some more dialogue released publicly before the launch of the game. Something like a short clip of a cutscene from the beginning. Or a montage of all the voice actors. Or better yet, a new trailer, but that would require quite a lot of work!
