...actually, considering my mom smokes, and knowing what I do about what her memory is like, I find that claim slightly dubious.

I also find that hard to believe. I don't smoke and have a very good memory. And I know some very forgetful smokers.

I don't smoke and have a crappy memory, but I don't think smoking would enhance it. It's become un-enhance-able, it can only get worse...
