lol, of course the forums will stay open!  Once the game's out, I expect this place to be filling up with all kinds of people.  ;D This is the perfect place to discuss stuff in the game and issues people have with them.  :P There will also probably be a Hint forum or something too where people can help each other with hints if they're stuck.  :)

awww how sweet this thread  <3 <3 <3

well as director I may speak we do hope this site will be -of course- active by the time the game is released, as neil mentioned it the site might also evolve as the process of it all happens, since we may not be working on the game, but we would be here, since as also said this would be your place to come and tell us the feedback about the game as tech support and such

and bottom line... you wont -only- have this forum then, but you will probably have a lot more ;).... and dont think you're all going to get rid of us so easy after kq ;)

Not for a moment. If AGDI/Tierra is any indication, the forums will be heck of a lot more crowded once there's actually a game to discuss :D

Meanwhile, I'll enjoy a long rest on my laurels  ;D

Speaking of post-KQ9 release era, it's mentioned in the Phoenix Freeware On-Line "manifesto" they intend to go on making games after this one, even outside of the adventure games genre. Is that an ambition to become a commercial company?

yeah, I actually read that myself too, there are a lot of plans for everyone here, phoenix freeware online has goals of its own currently just get to finish with kq9 :P (which its a huge game, size and development speaking) afterward its been roughly discussed, we can't say much but what I can say its that we DO work as a company, we have scheludes, contacts, plans, directors, organization scheme, work system, etc, we do operate as a current company the only difference we are not all together on a building/office/whatever and we are not being paid at all. Our ambition goes perhaps a bit further than just making ourselves legal or make a profit out of it, its rather to come together and do good stuff ;)

Yeah, KQ9 is one beast of a project! :o Once it's over with I could see this group developing original games.  It would be really great to continue to work with this team (and get paid too!!) Wooo!   ;D

Yup, if you read the Inventory Issue 7 (the link is posted on our homepage  8)), you'll find out more details about the game's projected release date and other things.  I believe the recordings being done in NY were also mentioned then too, and that issue was done back in May!   :D

I read the issue a few days ago, it gives out alot of plans that have never been told on the website.I love the screenshots, they're really textured and un-blocky.

QuoteYou click on the Quote button in a post and it will automatically quote the whole message.  It gets more complicated to put many quotes in the same post.

im not sure if this worked.

There's also this way of quoting.  Instead of hitting Reply, you click the quote button of someone else's post.
