Hmm, I know which one will be #1 under the most hated, even though I've never played it (The Cliffs of Logic-KQ6), but what are your favorites? I always liked turning the salt water into fresh water one in KQ7 (Desert-Ch. 1) and the labrynth in KQ5. They were pretty cool.

The cliffs were easy! With the necessary guide, of course. ;) Now, the KQ1 beanstalk, *that* was hard. :P

My favorite puzzle... hmm... KQ5, hitting the Yeti with a pie. Priceless. ;D

KQ ad:
Buying the pie: One silver.
Stopping the wolves from killing you: The cost of one harp.
Hitting the Yeti with the pie: Priceless.

Yeah I forgot that...it's classic. I think I'm gonna play that again just to relive it, heh.

The saltwater to freshwater from KQ7 was pretty cool.  I think my favourite was using the "Drink Me" potion to fool the genie in KQ6.  In KQ5, I liked the save rat from cat, ants from dog and bees from bear puzzles. ;D

The cat & rat puzzle was irritating!  :o
You had to get it right the first time aroud or you lose game and won't even know it, AND it was timed so you only had a few seconds to aim and shoot a moving target... obviously *I* had to restore. Several times  :P

Bees from bear and ants from dog were pretty easy, though. Speaking of KQ5, I can't get out of the dark forest. Can someone tell me (on this forum or PM) how to get out of it from the "misshapen tree"

Heh. Dark or not, I'm with ya, Cesar... talking to the Lord of the Dead is easily one of the best adventure game moments I've come across.

I was stuck in the gate puzzle for MONTHS and MONTHS.

I think that was the puzzle that kept me from finishing KQ6 for around 6 months or so.

The thing is that I tried "love" (It was the first thing I tried since it was so obvious), but for some reason, it didn't work the first time and I told myself, oh well, that's not it. Never tried it again until months later, and I was like "way to go..."

Yeah, Lord of the Dead was definetely one of my fav scenes from KQ6. Very up my alley. Very KQ9ish too ;)

I actually thought the Love thing was somewhat obvious.  I remembered it from the message in the black widow's web and I figured the answer would be something opposite to what you see in the Land of the Dead.  After all, it wouldn't be much of a security gate if any ghoul could guess it.  :P

I thought the trying to makng the Lord of the Dead cry puzzle was a bit tougher, IMO.   ::)

I couldn't find how to get the note out of that web until AFTER I solved that riddle by myself  :P
I thought the "making the Lord of the Dead cry" puzzle was pretty obvious as well  ::)

yeah, that both of the puzzle were obvious, but nonetheless great.

A lot of KQ6 puzzles were good.  The sense gnomes amused me, and the Lord of the Dead stuff was great.  The catacombs full on creep me out, but I love them.

Oddly enough, the same thing happened to me. I wonder why that is.

It's because of the stupid letter-clicking interface that doesn't let you see what you wrote or make corrections to it  :-[
