heheh, I like Rosella the best. She's a beautiful and good princess, she has good fashion sense, she's in shape and is kind and brave, she was willing to sacrifice herself to the dragon to save Daventry, and she's been on 2 adventures. She is more cautious and careful than her father and brother while choosing a mate, she waits to get to kow the guy first. She can be immature and a bit selfish, and childish in a playful way, like she was in KQ7. But I am immature and a bit selfish, so we have something in common.

Yes, but if none of the events in KQVII happened there would be an alternate time line and TSL might not exist!

No, but MoE also wouldn't exist, becuase there would have been a closure. Alexander and Rosella are both married. The series could have gone on with their childrens' lives' or it could have stopped and there would have been no need for TSL (just stating the obvious. I have nothing whatsoever against TSL)
