Imagine....

Someone signs up for the forum
"this is gonna be GREAT!"

They have a couple of questions, that they just have to ask. So they post their questions.
"Wow, I wonder how they'll answer!'"

Then Neil answers them, with "Sufferring"
*"AH!! !! !!, My monitor's trying to eat me!! !! !!"

They run away(in fear).

*or any other sentence, that would show the horror of seeing it in response to a question. :P

Back on topic....

Is that the high polygon model, or the low-polygon model? ::)

All the 3D models in KQ9 are low-poly. :)

Low-poly eh?

Well if you can have that detail with only a low number of polygons then I am certainly impressed!
When cities burn and armies turn,
and flee in disarray,
Cowards will cry 'tis best to fly
and fight another day.
But warriors know it in their marrow when they die and fall,
It is better to have fought and lost than not have fought at all.

Grundy

Low-Poly is a very general term and often depends on the game engine used and minimum hardware target.

We've had a lot of discussion on this forum about the minimum hardware and what sort of game we're aiming for.

This game will blow your mind.... as long as you have XYZ minimum hardware.  So yeah, this IS low poly, but probably a bit higher than what you're used to.   ;)   Does that help?   ;)

Shadowfax

Well, I wasn't questioning your ability, only complimenting it!

But still, I hope it does blow my mind as it were. FOr my KQ IX to work it will need high polygon models and probably require at least Pentium 5000 before it will work to it's fullest extent!

Well, I will make another wild theory:

The beast was originally cursed by Manannan during his "wild youth" but became human through Alexander. However, because Alexander will have gone mad in KQ IX he will resurrect Manannan from being a cat and he will return to the Isle of the Beast and curse the man again!

Yes, I know that is completely and utterly wrong but let me speculate anyway! Its more worthwhile then trying to extract an answer out of the KQ IX team!

Mind you, with some of my "friend of a friend of a friends" associate contacts then anything is possible...

The tusks seem a bit too close together on the face-forward pic... but otherwise they all look great 8)

There's a slight problem with your theory - KQ6 clearly states the original curser was a witch :S

* Storm wonders how wild were Manannan's "wild youth" :o

Probably one of the better, most intruiging and funniest uses of "suffer" that I've seen on this forum. ;D
