I don't recall any closure for Babylon 5, but that may be because the commercial tv-station that was broadcasting it cancelled it prematurely. In that time they had a nasty habit of cancelling tv-series in the middle of a set of episodes. >:(

Babylon 5 was planned to last for a 5 season storyline, and despite the ever-present threat of cancellation, it did manage to last five seasons and wrap up the story.
