And no, I don't think online auditions have been cast yet at all. Mike's not even gotten through recording the live auditions people, which I think he is going to be getting to doing this month (IIRC), and online auds are going to be taken care of after that. So yeah, they're still open.

I'm looking forward to getting to go to NYC again to record my own stuff, actually!

I know there's still time before the online auditions casting is done, but how are the auditions going besides that? did the male/female ratio get any better?

Yup, a lot better!  It's 30:11  Which means 26.8% of the auditioners are female!

Well, you can always increase your odds of getting a part by submitting more entries.   We even said that everyone is free to submit as many submissions as they want, and as many variations as they want.

In the extra comments box I just type "I give permission for my auditions to be posted on the KQIX Forum"

But not all auditioners are forum members who know they can give their permission to that. You could add in the auditions instructions that people can add a "let me be heard on the forum" comment, but using a checkbox would be easier for the auditioners, and we do want as many of them to take that option
