Genesta died cuz her amulet was poisoned by being so close to Lolotte.

That always bugged me...ig Genesta was suupsedly this really powerful faerie, how come she dies if she doesn't get her talisman back?

ANd why are 2 faeries (one good, one evil, no less) living so close by? If is Genesta was SO powerful how come she didn't just kill Lolotte herself?

And now they heck did she lose the Hen to the Orge? Chickens cant fly or swim...so I guess Genesta stupidly brought the chicken everywhere...

Why so close together? Tamir was a small country, but still required its balance of good and evil. Also, cheap real estate.

Why she would die without the talisman? She clearly had never read The Evil Overlod List. Which, while it would seem to be meant for evil overlords only, has a few good pointers for good guys, too.

As for right now, she's trying to find some good curtains for Lolotte's abandonned castle, what with it being back on the market and all. It'll up that selling price.

One thing that bugs me...at the end of KQ4, it seemed like she knew about Edgar the whole time...so we did she let hom stay there with Lolotte all those years?

And she lives on a seemingly TROPICAL island...why does she have a SNOW Leopard? even regular leopards don't live in the tropics...

I found out what really happened to Genesta. Her union decided to strike just after she appeared in KQ4. Without the wages she earned from her work, the bank forclosed on her island and castle, her little minion fairies went to find other jobs as she could no longer pay their wages, she moved to NYC where she is now a waitress as Stingy Lou Lu's dinette car.

As far as Edgar, it could be because her power and Lolotte's were in equal opposition before, so she really couldn't get close enough to help him. Or maybe she found out about only after Lolotte was killed? It's also possible, a sudden rush of information at the end.

As for the leopard, beats me!

In the end of KQ4, it doesn't show Genesta knew anything about Edgar, except that that he helped Rosella... the whole "kidnapped as a babe" thing appears for the first time in KQ7, not KQ4 $:-\$

You missed the whole point of having the snow leopard there - She's a fairy! she has magic! she can bring a mammoth to live on her island if she wanted!

Hah, well, KQ pulls a LOT of its storylines from other tales, and rewrites them for its purposes. I'r's true! Remember Storm's thread about it?

What was Genesta's line to Edgar? "You should look like what you really are" or somehting like that?

) and it's "You should look like what you are". Hmm, that DOES fit in nicely with the KQ7 plot... never thought about that before

Quest for Glory, another game series by Sierra. Fairly fun, with some action elements (ie you do have to fight monsters) but with plenty of puzzles.
