Any utilities to mod Sierra games?

Hey, are there any utilities which can be used to mod Sierra games, particularly KQs 5 and 6? Like I mean not just view the resource files but actually add or remove things from them--Like be able to say, add subtitles or a text version to KQ5? Or add scenes into the game that weren't there before, or rip sreens and sprites from it>?

At present there is no way to edit the compiled game scripts for Sierra's SCI games. There is a disassembler which takes a Script file and produces an editable file in assembly language or something. Some people can translate this and then change things and then recompile it with Brian Provinciano's script compiler. This is how NewRisingSun created those script-based timer patches for various Sierra games, I believe.

It sounds complicated and dangerous, though......
