Wait, I'm confused.  How did this conversation get to this "My Immortal?"

- Being confused.
- Watching my sweetie's mind break while reading aloud the posted passages.

DON'T READ THEM ALOUD! That's dangerous juju there... it shouldn't be read aloud!

Neither of those passages are as bad as the ones where she seems to get the what goes where mixed up, backwards, or just plain wrong, which happens at least 2 or 3 times. (they're not in general ever more explicit than those, just  troubling in how wrong they get the few details they relate )

And "My Immortal" came up because Deloria tried to start off an intervention in the thread... then that happened.

Jamie read it out loud to me. It was fun. And terrifying. Then I made him do a 1940s accent to wipe it from my mind so I could sleep without being haunted by the awful.

On a Monday? 

-Eating some Girl Scout cookies (Savannah Smiles, mmm boy! [Just noticed that this sounds like a stripper name. Hmmm.])

-About to dry my hair and go get some coffee

-Waiting for Mom to arrive so I can ride with them to the airport and drive home. Seriously, I don't get that. Usually when people ask me to "take them to the airport," it doesn't happen that way. They end up taking ME, then toss me the keys and are like, "Later dude, I'm off to catch some sun!!" And then I begrudgingly trudge home in a 45-minute drive only to come back to the suburbs and discover that the rain has turned to hail, and the forecast doesn't even include sunbreaks.

Well my days off are Sunday and Monday so.
Plus, I somehow have to manage to get up out of bed and to work by 4 pm every day. and you thought you had it hard.

P.S. Samoa > all other girl scout cookies combined...into one super  cookie.

I once had a waitress from Taiwan whose name was "Porn". I missed that place because it was like the only Asian place that would give you bite size pieces of broccoli instead of, you know, fist size pieces. Why do restaurants always do that!?

I'm probably about to enjoy some soy nuggets with my awesome imported Curry ketchup from Germany, watch some corny tv then go to sleep.

Le sigh, I miss living in Germany, the food was so much better :/

-Unable to sleep because I've been on spring break all week and my body has gotten used to staying up until 1:30 in the morning. Routine will change after tomorrow, when school starts once more and I have to start waking up at 6:00 every morning!

-Listening to my "Mellow" playlist on iTunes--which happens to be on "Princess Cassima" right now

-Reading Romeo and Juliet and getting all choked up.  I know that Shakespeare has (brilliantly) written more than just this one play, but like most other Americans, I was introduced to him by reading it, so it goes down in history as My Favorite Shakespeare Play Ever. [R+J Gush] God, I'm such a girl/baby/sap.  I cry e v e r y time I read it.  Not just the situation of the "Hey baby, let's commit suicide!!" scene, but the language. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh myyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy goooooooooooooosh.  I get all prickly and goosebumpy even when I read minor things like, "...they may seize on the white wonder of dear Juliet's hand and steal immortal blessing from her lips." I get this huge lump in my throat and start flapping my hands like a madwoman.  You guys would make fun of me soooooo bad if you watched me read it! [/R+J Gush]

Disney World Wedding kewl?

Don't read too much poetry these days, I've become much more fond of reading famous letters from interesting or famous people. Reading a collection of letters from a doctor who ran an American Insane Asylum from the 1890-1930s, very interesting.

But here is an exert from my fav. poet. He is describing the mother of all monsters.

-Can't figure out what to bring over to my boss' for Easter since her whole family are meat-a-tarians. I mean honestly, who complains about tiny MINCED pieces of onion in a otherwise veggie-less beer cheese soup.

It depends.  To me tea is a mellow drink, and I have it nearly every night.  The very Irish and English part of my ancestry craves the leaf.  But COFFEE! I'm a Seattle girl, gang! Need I remind you? When we have medical procedures done over here in the sticks, they flow coffee straight through the IV. It's true.   I'm guzzling a triple shot mocha as we speak.

:/ I know how you feel, I have never had surgery and if I can ever get workers comp to do anything, I'll be having my first surgery in two months. Not looking forward to it :/ outside the week off of work.
