Also, kudos for having the guts to do that. I would be far too scared to ever try.

GOOD: A snag in my background check has been settled, so it looks like I will be getting my new job after all.  ;D

Oh, that's awesome!  Congrats!

So your bistory of grand theft auto won't affect your new job? ;)

As long as they keep me away from sharp objects, I should be fine.  :P

Actually, it was kind of funny. They were supposed to contact my previous employer, but my previous employer went bankrupt (Hollywood Video). So since Hollywood Video went out of business, there wasn't an actual "employer" to call to confirm my employment history. I ended up digging up my old job at Staples and am now using them. But that small part was the only thing preventing me from getting my job.  ::)

GOOD: I might be reassigned to a higher position before my job even starts.  ;D

BAD: The higher position will require me to work a graveyard shift.  :'(

THE BAD: I watched Grey's Anatomy last night and the freaky disease that guy had has seriously been haunting me all day. :X

THE BAD: I've been jabbed by two needles today--a flu shot and had three vials of blood stolen from me. :(  But...

THE GOOD: Who cares about all that?  It's FRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIDAY!

Awww, hon, we all suck at Street Fighter.  *Pats on back* Is Chun Li in the second one?  I was always her when I would play.

Yeah. I haven't played it in YEARS. I'm just excited to play the game again. My tomboyish gamer side is very happy right now :D

The GOOD: I don't need a birth cert for my PPS No.!!! :D
The GREAT: this means I don't have to get my parents to get yet another copy and overnight it to me which would have made the whole process take 2+ weeks.

The GOOD: I was just "you're welcome"-ed in Irish (Ta failte romhat!) This makes me manically happy! :D (that or it could be the fatigue and sudden in flux of good things)

The BAD: PPS No. takes 7-10 days anyway
The BAD: the balance of bureaucracy to research is tilted far too heavily towards the bureaucracy at the moment...
The BAD: but then the research somewhat scares me... *should go read up on the 3-dimensional shah function (it will be handy (I think) for seeding clouds with random clumps)*

...well, it's not like I haven't done computer modeling before, but those were toy programs in MATLAB... I'm better at the data analysis part... better in that... I've done that a lot.

The GOOD: Rescue operation almost done!
The GOOD: Finally figured out why my program wouldn't work
The BAD: Spent a day trying to do so only to realize the arguments to one of the functions were in the wrong order :wall:
The GOOD: Have Friday off from school! :D

Haids1987

THE BAD: I just got my test results back from the doctor, and unfortunately I have no idea what they were because the lady who gave them to me was so heavily accented on the message that I couldn't understand a word she said except "Hi Hailey."

THE GOOD: What Tess said, the miners are almost home! !!!

The GOOD: I made biscuits and gravy today
The GOOD: the gravy was a definite improvement over last week's (next time, less milk, more bacon grease, less sugar)
The GOOD: one of the biscuits was R I G H T (it had the texture and consistency of my grandmother's biscuits :D)

The BAD: the rest of the biscuits were still either too bready or too flaky

The GOOD: research is picking up
The BAD: I'm still uncomfortable with the C code :-X

Oo... quite possibly. :)

Actually, I think I can leave now. I think I just needed my immigration card. :P See, I can get the MHD backend done for the French group. Maybe I can go teach them MOLLIE, and if I should happen to see some of France while I was there... *twiddles thumbs*
