Oh, honey. We're here for you!

THE GOOD: Mom and Dad are in California for two weeks, woooooooooooo!

THE GOOD: I can be loud, walk around naked, and play my music as loud as I want.

THE BAD: I have three very needy golden retrievers who insist on my constant love and affection anytime there's a brief lull in activity. Willie's the worst; he lays his huge head on my lap and whines like a little girl, then jumps on my shoulders to hug me and lick my face with his massive tongue. Boys. ::)

The good: I've lost 10 lbs and on cusp of my middle number changing once again with two more pounds
The good: It's spring time
The bad: Fruitless job search as of right now. Have my name in at several places but no luck yet.
The good: I have a new therapist and i see her again soon.

The Good: I discovered this awesome cheese infused with Port red wine, OMGosh it's so sharp too. If it were a Cheddar, it would be EXTRA UBER OMGOSH EXTRA EXTRA SHARP. La awesome! Plus...it's purple!

The Bad: I have since washed my hands 3 times since I ate a slice of it I cut and it somehow still lingers....

Eh, sorry about that post earlier in the week. Suffice to say my best advice for everyone would be to never EVER (And I mean legitimately, life altering) get hurt at work. Ever. EVER. I could write 30 pages about this.

The good: Job interview in a town two hours from me on Tuesday. But I'm semi familiar with it as my brother went to school there. Any type of positive vibes sent my way would be appreciated.
The good: I had a good work out today. This going regularly since December is paying off. I hope to keep it up when I become employed.

THE DEPRESSING: As I wrote the date to take notes for database class just now, I realized that exactly one month from today I will turn 25. :X  :'(  :help:

I turned 25 in Tintern Abbey with Deloria and darthkiwi. :P It softened the blow. ;P (This is an example of understatement, but if you haven't BEEN to Tintern, you might not get that. :P)

Unless Indiana Jones (or Han Solo, he's incredible in either form :smitten:) shows up on a flying unicorn to take me to Scotland, drops down on one knee in front of Dundas castle and gives me a pink sapphire engagement ring, the blow will be every bit as harsh as I expect it to be.

THE SAD: Getting older really, really sucks.  I was 21 when I discovered TSL and thought I was all grown up then!  :stabs:

THE HOPEFUL: The sun is supposed to be out today and the flowers are sweetening the air all over the place. It's beautiful here right now!

THE INEVITABLE: With great beauty comes great suffering.  My throat has officially become a scratching post for pollen, and I'm that annoying sniffly kid person sitting behind you in class.

Yes, but I'm the baby in my family! When Ash and Travis turned 25 I was like, "Eh. I still have a long time until I get there." And now it's almost heeeeeeeeeeeeere! :wall:

And you have a wife and two beautiful babies, Snabbott. You're good, man! All I have are three dogs. (Thank God they're not cats, though!)

Pfft, I AM 25 & single and it is and I am freakin awesome TYVM.

But I know what you mean, figured I'd be married off by now coming home to to a pair of gremlins (children) who'd run and latch onto my legs, connive in laughter as they force me to stumble about like Frankenstein....twisting and turning me about as I try to avoid an acrobatic dog on hind legs, tongue out, doing a one-man waltz to his own barks. And I'd have a wife who'd break out into smile every time she saw me, who'd kiss me on some stupid place like my eye all the time just because I hate it. I'd taste some sauce shes making, make a face-- to the children. Get smacked, shooed out of the kitchen. Eh, you get the point.

But suffice to say, it is better to wait for the right one than...TO ACCEPT ANYTHING less! ^_^. Just be yourself because even though somebody may not like you, somebody else will...and that person will actually love you for who you are! ^_^

Hey, hey, hey, hey. We don't need to start a flame war here, and believe me, them's fightin' words. :P

I know how you feel though. I've been the baby in every social group I've been in. The thing is though that the definition of young keeps getting older since everyone you're around is also getting older. I know I'm not speaking from too much experience here, but don't stress too much about it. You can't control the flow of time, so just make of your life what you want to make of it. It's all good. 8)

That said,
The GOOD: Finally got my state tax return sent in. I wanted to use Turbo Tax, but it turns out they were going to charge me $40 to file my state return because I didn't follow a special link from the department of taxation to get free efiling, and I'd have to start an entirely new account to do that, so then I tried H&R Block, but they wouldn't let me file my state until I filed my federal with them but I'd already filed my federal back in like, February, and the IRS knew that so I couldn't just submit another copy of my taxes. Finally, I tried another tax filing thing, but the internet kept going out so I could fill out my tax information but didn't have enough bandwidth to actually register... It was a long evening. I'm glad my taxes are so simple, because I had to enter all of my information 3 times last night. -_-
The GOOD: Have two new knitting projects
The BAD: Running out of things to watch while I knit. :-\

You knit too? !!!

I started watching episodes of Rugrats on Netflix last night while I knit :P

The BAD: Really need to go work on editing my project write up :(
The GOOD: Once I get it done and my presentation done, I'll have a lot more free time
The BAD: Ipod is about to die and I don't have my cord for it with me

No offense meant there! ;D That was meant in two parts: a) Of course the "crazy cat lady" steroetype and b)I really hate cats. :P No flames were s'posed to stoked there, I have a spray bottle ready. Spritz, spritz! :sweating:

Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh. You're too young to be so wise, Rosella. :) It's true, and I know I shouldn't be depressed about it, but argh. I just get so sad around every birthday I have. I have amazing friends, an incredible family, and of course my three awesome dogs--but, like you, I've "always been the baby." It's strange and sad to be one of the older kids now.

Did you marry your first love? Some one told me that you're lucky if you marry your first love. I really believe that too. Tis why I spent 6 years of my life dating my first love on again / off again.  I had alot of assumptions about love like...I assumed that each partner loved each other equally...but that's not always the case. And I know they say love is blind but I didn't interrupt it to mean things like....the person you love may steadily become a worse and worse person but that doesn't correlate to mean your feelings for them will grow less and less---> I kind of understand now why some parents don't wan their children dating until a certain age.

I think it's a terrible idea to tell your children when they are allowed to have feelings.

Also, en français, "un certain age" means "middle aged". ::) Bad plan.
