What thing is it without a name that brings my mind ere back the same to thee?

Elessar

'Tis an intriguing concept to be sure!

Let's fill Corridor 9 with some NOISE!!!!!

Quote from: kindofdoon on June 30, 2010, 12:39:25 AMI made a basic wikipedia page for Corridor 9 based on César's comments. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corridor_9

You'd better act fast, or the page might be deleted. Someone has it marked as falling under the criteria for speedy deletion.
All that is gold does not glitter
Not all who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither
Deep roots are not touched by the frost

From the ashes a fire shall be woken
A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be blade that was broken
The crownless again shall be king

It has been deleted. Can someone else bring it back?

You should link to the Joystiq article that mentions it. There's also going to be news soon on PC Gamer.

I have that game, but never finished it.

Rosella

I hardly STARTED that game. I explored and I tried to figure things out, and I found some books with people in them and that was as far as I got. I didn't even get much farther than a walkthrough. I really prefer games with characters in them. XD

Is it news mainly about TSL or C9? or POS in general?

I've finished the first one a couple of times, but none of the others. Zelly has though....
There are more characters as the games progress, but I suppose Myst is an acquired taste as they say.... :P

That sucks about the C9 page being taken down. I'm sure we can get it going again

Wasn't there Myst and the sequel that was Riven...I couldnt do either! I remember getting into a shuttle and going over to other bits of the island and there were some dinosaur looking things near the water in Riven and if you went to close they dived away.

Odd, Odd game, but I really want to play it again XD

Yup. Myst, Riven, Exile, Revelations and End of Ages. All excellent games (though I have yet to finish the last).
There's also Uru, which is now free to play as Uru Live.
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

Firstly, two things:

OMG THANKEES FOR PIC OF MAIN CHARACTER!

...and I love that the main character is actually named "Faith". ;D

Its themes centers around a battle between Religion vs Science, Life vs Death, Man vs Machine... It's extremely atmospheric and you could say it's a sci-fi spiritual drama with hints of horror.

Hrmm... I guess you're done with the writing, etc. and are moving forward. Well, if you're ever considering a sequel, consider exploring epistemology. You probably already do bump up against it a lot as is since it is a major vehicle for the discussion of religion vs. science (since both use underlying assumptions and frameworks for self-justification and thus are easy prey for a field of study that questions such bases).

Personally and as a scientist, I find my discussions with my epistemologist cousin, who likes to systematically downplay empiricism, highly disconcerting... like this:

Noli me tangere! Nescio ubi fuisti!
Don't touch me! I don't know where you've been!

Marquess of Pembroke
Duke of Saxony in Her Majesty's Court
Knight of the Swan for Her Imperial Highness

...resistance was obviously useless against a family that could invent italics.

Interesting,

I expected something with a bit more brushed copper, natural leather, and perhaps stylized nerf-guns...

Nonetheless .. go with it.

This sounds really cool.  I know I heard about TSL way too late to audition for any of the voice roles, but seeing as how C9 seems to still be in its infancy..  Is there any way I'll be able to lend my voice to you guys?!

I can provide examples of previous works.

Hey Jay! When we get to the point where we're looking into casting, we'll let you know. That's a ways off right now!

Hi Jay! Where have you been hiding?

Hey!  Yeahh, I know I disappeared.  I've been pretty busy, but all this buzz about TSL coming back.  And tomorrow. Well, it drove me right back.  And I'll probably be sticking around because I'm in a super KQ mood again.  And when this happens it's really hard to break :S

I mentioned this in the forum - but figured I'd say it here as well.

I would just like to extend a hand in saying if you need a voice actor for future episodes, I'd be glad to lend a voice.

I've done the voice acting (since around Nov 2003) for Neverending Nights doing a wide variety of character voices (as well as one of the main characters, Peter the Ranger). A listing of the numerous characters I have done for the series can be seen here.

I also do Professional Voice acting and have a recording studio in my office. Some of the professional work I have done can be seen on my personal website over here which includes five demo samples.
