Mind if I ask why you picked that particular name? Corridor 7 is the name of an existing game and Corridor 8 was the name of the sequel that was planned if the producing company wouldn't have gone out of business.

Seeing that the Capstone has long since died, it's unlikely anyone's gonna send a lawyer out to force you to change the name, but even so...why use a title that implies being a sequel to an old-school FPS that wasn't even very popular?

Huh! Well, speaking personally I'd never heard of Corridor 7 before. The name (which may yet change) was rather tied into to the design--most specifically that there were, well, nine corridors in the game.

The game's a bit smaller in scope now, though, so again, it may change.

I did run into the game Corridor 7 when our game was used to be called Corridor 7!

Like Katie said, we may change the name of the game. It could be simply called "C9", we'll see.

Ran into another game commonly referred to as C9 (Google Search). It is officially titled Continent of the Ninth, but referred to by fans and by themselves as C9.

I'm sorry if I'm derailing your conversation at the moment, but this just occurred to me. Corridor 9's thread is in an off-topic forum under The Silver Lining category. Wouldn't you guys like to give it it's own category or forum? Even though it may be awhile before it comes out, I just thought it would deserve more recognition than being put under the off-topic forum of TSL. Especially since it will be your first original title.

Don't expect to see any updates to C9 for a while - virtually all of our efforts are going into TSL right now.
