Isn't he the friend of the royal family who moved into Mannannan's house after Alexander turned him into a cat? And he also wrote the novel version of KQ6 for Alexander?

He only existed in the King's Quest Companion, am I right?

He wrote just about all of the novel versions if I remember correctly.

Ok, that sounds super familiar. Remind me again?  See this guy rocks, we should have him to our next KQ9 ladies auxiliary luncheon!

No office to the ladies, I’m also forming a KQ9 bowling league so all genders are represented. I’d invite him to that but I don’t know if he can bowl.  ???

I never read any of the KQ books or companions, so I only know Derek Karlavaegen from the KQ6 manual... don't think I'll miss him if he doesn't appear in KQ9  8)
