It's kind of interesting how much Graham's appearance (in terms of talking portraits, etc) varies from both game to game and KQ source to source.

Also, I find it rather interesting that both the manual to KQ1 and KQ2 display him having a mustache:

As does the intro to MoE (possibly)

And the Kingdom of Sorrow novel says he has a beard, and the KQC describes him as ''unshaven by preference.''

Hmmm, I never saw that before.  Then again, I didn't play MoE.  Graham most definitely doen't have facial hair in my opinion.  It just doesn't look right.

Ya watch the video, I think its more of a poorly constructed lip, which merged with his nose in an akward way (it appears for one or two frames, then disappears). Its the skin color like his lip/nose;face. So most likely its a pop up of the polygons. At the angle it might actually the bottom half of the polygon from his nose (base of his nose). It sticks out to the tip of his nose.  bout a frame later, it disappears. Definitely not a mustache.

Well, ya, King's Quest is on Earth. Daventry is very old city from a long time ago. It's in ruins now and people aren't quite sure exactly where it used to be. There are some archaeologists searching through the ruins, they think they know its Daventry. But its somewhere on Earth."-Roberta Williams http://kingsquest.wikia.com/wiki/File:Daventryisearth.ogg

B'rrr

Though I never tested it, I am fairly confident that most males can grow a mustache in a few days. He could have a beard or a mustache at some point and shave it off at another *nods*

Heard joke once: Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says "Treatment is simple. Great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says "But Doctor...I am Pagliacci." Good joke. Everybody laugh. Roll on snare drum. Curtains.

Lol!
I actually knew a guy like that. He could grow a beard in a few days that looked like it had taken him weeks.
I can grow something substantial in about a week, with the exception of a few spots which refuse to grow anything at all (which is why I shave).
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

It would be kind of fitting, seeing as Ken Williams (basically the ''Father'' of Graham in a sense) had one.

As a goof I gave Graham a beard:
