I go to Fileplanet a lot to download new games files and I almost jumped out of my sit when i saw TSL was back!!! I loved reading The Four Winds before and this is a fun one to

There be something wrong with the background in my FireFox 3.6.3 in Kubuntu Linux.
As you can see, the 'parchment' background stops prematurely and I have to select (& invert colours) to see what is written at the bottom.

It wasn't just me--Ryan Yoo did the designs on the new Four Winds look, and Jonathan Chan once again did a great job setting up the webpage.

Speaking of whom, CC, I'll ask if he knows why that might be happening on your browser. Actually, just talking to him now, and he thinks it might be fixed! Let me know.

As well, for those asking about the old articles, the new Four Winds is actually going to be a combination of new articles and old ones. The old ones have been re-edited and somewhat re-written, depending on what shape they were in from before, so you will get to see some of the old articles!

If finding out the solution for my problem interferes with anything TSL-related, please give the TSL-stuff priority. As shown in my second screenshot, I can read everything using a workaround. Looks as if I'm the only one with that problem too, but then again, I've probably got a peculiar setup as well when mailing and posting and not one I'll be able to play TSL in.

Oh, no worries friend. If you're having these problems, then I'm sure other people with peculiar setups will be having these problems too. If I can make it a more enjoyable experience for all, then I would very much like to do so. Immersion is important to me. I PMed you, btw.

You know I have the text from the older Four Winds up on King's Quest omnipedia thanks to wayback machine... Only thing the article is missing is the artwork from the original website. If anyone has that material saved it, and could upload it, it would be appreciated.
