I just want to say that I think its a brilliant idea to bring the silver lining out in chapters like a serial.
I have never heard of any other games released in serial form. I am curious to know if anyone has tried
this before.

Baggins

Of course, haven't you heard of Telltale Games? They have been doing it for years with Sam and Max, Tales from Monkey Islands, etc...
Well, ya, King's Quest is on Earth. Daventry is very old city from a long time ago. It's in ruins now and people aren't quite sure exactly where it used to be. There are some archaeologists searching through the ruins, they think they know its Daventry. But its somewhere on Earth."-Roberta Williams http://kingsquest.wikia.com/wiki/File:Daventryisearth.ogg

It's also been done by Penny Arcade Adventures, though that's more a (hilarious) RPG than an adventure game. Unfortunately the series got cancelled after episode 2.

I think Dan Marshall at http://www.zombie-cow.com/ also plans to release episodic adventures. So far he's only released Ben there, Dan that and Time, Gentlemen, Please!, but it sounds like he's planning a series of shorter, episodic adventures.

(Incidentally, both are well worth looking into: the writing is hilarious, and they're both brilliantly aware of the fact they're adventure games. Seriously, the first line of BTDT is "Well, I've used lots of objects on lots of other objects...". Plus BTDT is free to download!)
Prince of the Aquitaine. Duke of York.

Knight errant and consort to Her Grace the Empress Deloria of the Holy Roman Empire, Queene of all Albion and Princess Palatine.

Thank you guys for your replies. I didn't know there were any fan made adventure games until last year.
Since then  I have found and played agd interactive games and infamous adventures kings quest 3 remake. Infact it has been only a couple of months since I discovered the silver lining game. I tried to look up some of the
fan made adventure games including the silver lining on nz gaming sites with no luck.

Bloodmoon

Monkey Island has a game set of 5 chapters I just got off of STEAM during the big sale. A really good series and a lot of play.
Even old wolfmen fear the Bloodmoon, beware the Bloodmoon.
