Why did you guys choose a different voice for graham in TSL? Josh Mandel is easly contactable as seen in kq1vga 2vga and 3vga

I remember the team actually addressing this once but I can't remember the exact meaning. I think they just wanted to do this their own way. The voices in TSL is great, everything about it is pure magic, I promise.

That's not really a :suffer:-worthy comment, I fear.  I remember hearing the name a few times, and there used to be a video of his audition (doesn't he also voice Shadrack? :)) on YouTube.  Just searched for it, but couldn't find it. :(  Anyway, he sounds just like Graham!  I absolutely love the actor they chose!

I too remembered this being talked about before.  I thought there was also talk about how Josh Mandel's voice didn't quite fit as well for their vision of Graham, though I could be wrong about that.  And while I certainly have nothing against Josh, Jason seems to do a great job from the dialogue we've heard!

How can you sound like a game character when a game character doesn't have a voice of his own but only the voice of his/her voice actor?  :-\

While Josh did some great work as Graham in the original games and for some of the fan remakes, I have to say I love Jason Victor as our Graham. :) He did an amazing job! I'm biased, of course, but I personally think our Graham is the best Graham.  ;D

Also, no, he did not do the voice work for Shadrack. You've yet to hear any of that character's lines, I believe, and his voice actor is also fantastic. Once we heard him read, there was no contest and no question--he was the guy we were looking for!

I can't explain it, but that's how I feel, too. I don't think it's so much the voice as the way he delivers the lines. Of course, it could just be that I've played TSL so much...

Whatever it is, Jason does an amazing Graham. :D Along with Amy (the narrator and a few of the characters) and whoever voiced the Arch Druid, his is one of my favorite voices in the game.

Yea I really fell in love with Jason and Amy's voice acting.  I actually can't imagine anyone else doing the voice of Graham now... and Amy is an absolute treasure as the narrarator.  While it might have been nice to have had Josh do the voice of Graham... I am very very happy that Jason got the part.

And I LOVE the voice for Shadrack.  I don't know where they found him... but he nails the evil twisted wizard voice perfectly.  Maybe a little too perfectly....  **lol**
