Does anyone quote Kings Quest games in real life?

I love to quote from movies and games. Kings Quest is one of them. Yesterday I heard fireworks out my window for the 4th of July, I said "Okay you naughty boy, let's go watch the fireworks!" (KQ7). KQ 6 is my favorite to do,though. I hope I'm not the only person who does this.

Every time I'm really thirsty and get a glass of water, the "Ahh, live giving water" quote comes to mind. XD

I never realized how much I do it until now, when I'm playing the KQ games with my boyfriend and find myself explaining. XD

For whatever reason "GASP! A CHASM!" comes up a good bit, and I'm not sure why. :P

Definitely "life-giving water" is something I quote rather frequently.

I feel like I quote Cedric more often than I should, and I know that at least twice I've ended up saying "Graham gives the wand a good shake, but it only fizzles, and dies."

...I'm so much more of a dork when you hang around me in real life. :P

I can honestly say that after hanging out with you in real life, I did not find you to be a dork at all :)

Walking outside in the winter: "Egads! Is that cold!"

Cleaning a messy room that I'm finally making progress on: "He sees light!"

Tripping over a crack in the sidewalk: "Zounds! A trap floor!"

Taking a walk on a hot day: "The hot sun and choking sands are taking their toll on me."

Playing a video game that I finally beat the boss on: "The king is dead."

Answering a question without really answering it: "We shall see!"

...and many, many more.  I'll list 'em when I think of them.  ;D

If I ever encounter an actual poisonous snake, I will do my best to quote Cedric :)

I've done that one, too. Occasionally I'll just blurt out lines to myself for no apparent reason; sometimes they just come to mind.
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

Yeah, the "life giving water" thing comes to mind a lot during the summer...

I mostly quote them with my siblings, who have also played them.

Don't want to get up to get something: "'Tis beyond my reach."

If someone dances strangely: "Is that a new dance, Graham? The bug-a-loo?"

If anybody references a map: "Magic s'map!"

There are probably more. I'll think of them.

I actually quoted "Life giving water" after a long hike on Saturday. It was so random but perfect at the same time.

Yes I love quoting from the kinqs quest games. Sometimes I do it without thinking about it. Other times I like
quoting a lot mostly cedric and shamir. I also like quoting when you die like "dying for a drink graham".

It would be quite odd if I started quoting KQ in real life  ::)

I believe Cedric says "the bug-a-loo," playing off the fact that Graham is "dancing" because of the ants (bugs) and the dance called the boogaloo. :)

And it's not for all of us? XD

It is, but I didn't want to say that out loud  ;)

but besides that, at least most of you have english as their first language, so it would be easier to sneak in a quote or two.

Ah, that's true...for someone whose native tongue is not English, it may be a bit odder (more odd?).

Huh. That would explain it better.

Pass by a Lowe's store: Lo, a place to use my map! I can magically transport from here.
