The only thing I'll regret about this not being Sierra-produced...

...is the score of music accompanying their logo and the merry trill that sounded at the title screens of V, VI and VII. I tingle when I hear those.

I wonder if we're going to be hearing any musical themes from KQ VI slightly revisited while Graham explores the Isles?

My favourite pieces are The Weeping Willow from V, and the Bountiful Forests from VII, so I won't suffer much if this is not the case.  :)

While I cannot comment on how TSL's music relates to the KQ game's music since I haven't played them in a long time, I can tell you the music is extremely well done. The immersive atmosphere it helps create is top notch. I really really really enjoy the music. REALLY! REALLY!

I don't know how to sell you on this music, but it is EXTREMELY AWESOME music! I even sat in certain areas just to hear the music playing in that area. When certain music changed between areas I became so SAD my mother cried. :'( Okay, now I'm just being silly.

It's really good music. :P

Oh! I had an idea!

Storm, I totally agree with your idea, and I have a solution.

So, I assume the PO will have a short cutscene with their logo as the game starts up. If I can find that video file in the game's program files, then I can edit the video by adding the classic Sierra mountain logo, and voila!

Sierra mountains upon startup!

Nice idea kind, I had it too.

Or maybe the Sierra logo is already there as a surprise 8)

This video on TSL would look great (Minute 0:22) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMdwGW0LeuQ&feature=related

Maybe we could fool ourselves and think that Sierra is back, hahaha

As I assume Sierra and its affiliated logos still exist as copyrighted material, it would not be prudent for POS to do something like that.
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

Well, ya, King's Quest is on Earth. Daventry is very old city from a long time ago. It's in ruins now and people aren't quite sure exactly where it used to be. There are some archaeologists searching through the ruins, they think they know its Daventry. But its somewhere on Earth."-Roberta Williams http://kingsquest.wikia.com/wiki/File:Daventryisearth.ogg

There's quite a few easter eggs to found in TSL... so maybe there is a Sierra logo in there... or maybe there isn't....

Only thing I can say is get ready to dust off your adventurer's caps!  The long wait is almost over.  :)

Hehe, I recall that you used the same line in the summary of KQ...II, was it?

Wow, 10 years building up to tomorrow. Best day of my life.

What can I say?  When you come up with a good phrase... you reuse it.  :) :) :)

Oh, it's undoubtedly a good phrase. The symbol of the adventurer's cap is great.
