To the whole phoenix team,

I was one of the contest winners (ccatlcali on twitter). I reveal NO spoilers, I just wanted to say you nailed everything that was ever Kings quest, really stayed true to it. I watched the intro before work, got teary eyed, and had to wait until midnight to actually play it. Its been a long time coming for the KQ6 story to continue, as everyone would agree.  I've been wanting to know since grade school what happened next, way over half my life ago!  And now I have it. You guys really nailed it.  Graphics, sound, story, cut scenes, I just wanted the episode to keep going.  You should all be extremely proud of what you've done. I feel like I'm nine years old again, the story i always wanted to see is now coming!

Congratulations, I sent a tagline too but it didn't got chosen.

I felt the same you felt when I watched the intro, can't imagine how will I feel when I play the actual game...

Do you like retro games? If you do check my YouTube channel, you might like it! :)

I can tell you it's a bit of a tear jerker, at least for me. I've loved KQ all my life (and I'm only 18) and I've always wanted to see it continue. Not only do I have the opportunity to witness King's Quest's royal rebirth, but I also have the opportunity to help in that revival. It's like a childhood dream come true in more ways than I could have ever imagined. Believe me, the wait for The Silver Lining was definitely worth it.

That's exactly how I felt when I found out that I was one of the winners in the tagline contest. Even though it's a very small part (in comparison to those who actually made the game) it was one of the most awesome things that has ever happened to me, because for the first time I really felt like I was a part of the King's Quest revival. :)
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

Every single person in this forum is a part of the revival. Because without you, the fans, this game would never have been made. It was the fans who TWICE brought us back from the brink of extinction. The Phoenix has risen twice, and it will soar higher than it's predecessors. The era of adventure games has returned. The days of my youth shall rise once more. We have proven to the world one very simple truth: Small can beat big (for those that don't know, that's a reference to Bryce Courtenay's The Power of One. I suggest you read it. NOW!). In simple truth, the fans hold the true power. If the fans demand it, so shall it be.

Technically, I never left... I just haven't posted in a while. I've been hiding in the shadows... Also, I've been busy with a few things. One of them was finally, officially joining the team and being involved in the announcement. Another was my part time job. The grocery store I work at is giving me all the hours they can. They just can't seem to get enough of me!

How very, very true.

I try my best!

The words I type come not from my hands, but from my heart. I know in my heart that if we all band together, if we all stand united as one, the world over, we can accomplish anything. We can show the big corporate companies not to mess with the fans. We are a force to be reckoned with.
