KQ7 beginning location?

It's the KQ game I've played the least (in fact, I don't think I've ever beaten it...), so I have no idea.

Does anyone know where it takes place before they go to that other land? Is it in Daventry or the Green Isles?

I believe it's implied that KQ7 starts in Daventry, before they end up in Eldritch. They seem to be talking about family affairs and such as if they're home, not vacationing.

Yea I agree with Rosella on this.  I specifically remember Valanice talking to Rosella about settling down and getting married... even going so far as to suggest that someone by the name of Prince Rupert (I believe that was the Prince's name) was quite dashing.  While it is possible they might have had such a conversation while travelling abroad... I don't think the women would have been so cavelier while abroad... not to mention without escort...

There's a guy I know who, after his girlfriend picked him up from school, got into her car, leaned over, kissed her on the cheek and said, "I love conjugating verbs."

Not kidding. Granted, he's a Greek and Hebrew scholar, not a Latin scholar, but I still think of him whenever I hear that line.
