I wish that this first episode was a little longer. I usually need a walkthrough to complete the game. I picked up three items and walked around a little. I feel as though I watched more cut scenes then actually played. I finished in under an hour. I hope that the next episodes are longer. I do like that the 5 episodes share a title screen. It gives it a feel of being one game. It also felt very much like a King's Quest in story and in humor.

Don't worry, episodes 2-5 are much longer than 1. This first one was meant as a way to re-introduce you to King's Quest.

Okay. It not that I didn't like it (I loved it by the way), it was that I was ready to spend the night thinking outside the box and solving lots of puzzles.

Under an hour?  Oh go play around more, click on random things and explore a bit, you're missing out on a lot of straight nostalgia stuff by crusing through like that.

And you're also missing a whole new location for the Green Isles. I suggest you get exploring. There are places you have yet to go and things you have yet to discover.

D-D, what new location? I played for a good hour forty-five, I thought I got everything but.... I don't remember a whole new location? Don't tell me what it is, just give me a hint!!

It's on the Isle of the Crown...have you tried walking to the edge of every screen yet?

I probably would not have found it myself if people didn't say there was a new area in the part we played, since I just didn't expect it to be there.

Just curious though, was there a specific reason why the house with the roses and such was not included (other then a perhaps obvious one that in TSL there is nothing to do there), it feels slightly odd to see it in the distance after the town but when walking towards it ending up at the ferry straight away (not that it is uncommon in KQ to see houses/buildings you can not go to if they are not important for the storyline). Same a bit with the path to the side of the castle (as mentioned in another thread aswell), where alexander used to paint his door in the wall, when trying to walk down the path you end up by the big tree with sing-sing.

Basically, we just didn't use screens that weren't necessary to our game.
