It was a May Ball at Cambridge University. Most Cambridge colleges throw a big big party once exams are over where everyone wears black- or white tie. They're very very fun.

And the hair piece is really pretty. I've had her cleaned since I took this photo and now she really sparkles!

I bought it when my parents separated in December. I figured buying diamonds on a whim would be therapeutic. She's 5 carats of 19th century beauty and awesomeness! She sparkles. Sparkling makes me happy. I'm not a very complex person.

I have had my hair light brown, blond, dark red, blueish black (I spared everyone the details of the fancy bottle names like "golden chestnutt" or "chocolatey almondsies" lol). It's a girly thing, I guess!

Yeah, there's this bizzare prejudice against red hair in some places. If what Laura Bow 2 taught me is correct, it stems from ancient beliefs that all people with red hair are art thieves.

Well, maybe a few...I can't say I'm a fan of girls who carry more than 72 daggers with them wherever they go, though.
