i am taking a break from forums where i sit online and read but don't post all that much. i waste so much time as fun as it is. i will be back (probably soon, idk how long i will actually last haha) but i just have a lot of other stuff to think about

Time for me to be lost, for once. Friday morning, I'll be peacing out to go to Mexico to build houses with a team from my church. I won't have any access to the internet while I'm there, so you won't hear from me until I get back. We return late on the 25th, though I expect I'll be so tuckered out that I won't show up here again until the day after, lol. If you are so inclined, please pray that everything goes well for us while we're down there. I'll still be around tomorrow, though I probably won't be checking the forums much as I still have a lot of packing to do. But I'll try to post a final goodbye Friday morning, at least.

I won't be taking pictures myself (my back account is pretty much sucked dry; no money for cameras), but I'll do my best to get copies from the rest of the team if I can.

Oh, and I just realized that I completely forgot to type the entire second half of my post:

After I return from Mexico, I'll be leaving in a couple of days to go to Pennsylvania for my grandmother's 90th birthday. Internet use may be sporadic; I'm not sure. If we're in a hotel, they may not even have free wireless/wired internet, and we're certainly not going to pay for it. That remains to be seen.

However, soon after we return (hopefully; the details haven't been hammered out yet), I will be starting my first full-time job. This is great news for me, because I really needed to find a job as I've been out of school almost a year now, but along with that comes the very real possibility that I will not be around much at all when I start working. It's an 8-5 job that's 1 1/2 - 2 hours away, and I'll have to drive that every day as I can't afford to move out. I honestly don't know how things are going to turn out, but considering how early I have to wake up to leave and how late I'll get back, I don't know how much I'll be able to participate here, as I expect I'll be incredibly tired upon returning every day (long drives on dull highways wear me out very quickly).

Anyway, that's all a little up in the air right now; we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Workstation installation and maintenance. As I understand it, the company is an IT supplier, so basically Company A contracts Company B to install some systems for them, and as I and some other people work for Company B, we get sent to do the work. Sounds mundane, but I love setting up new computers. And then there's troubleshooting, which can be both fun and frustrating (the latter is the reason we have Google!

)
