I remember this - Egger3rd used to be a member here and posted it up when he first made it a few years back.

I like the "No..." and the shopkeeper/merchant debate the best!

Alexander has no use for the beach. Alexander can see a long plank. Alexander finds it intriguing. But there's a box, which indicates a girl, and Alexander will not go home until he discovers what the beach is. Rocks abound on this beach, but it says nothing of it's voyages. A beach cannot talk.
To the left, a plank; To the right, a box. The beach must've witnessed many intrigues, one too many times, but it keeps it's stories to itself. Alexander can see no reason to clammer about on the beach. Alexander will have to clammer about up the path. The beach may appreciate Alexander, but the rocks are silent, and the debris has nothing to say.

Shopkeeper: Good day!
Alexander does not reply.
