Activision decides to Remake All of the KQ Games (1-7) or somehow make them work with the Machines of Today, would you be Happy.

I dont think i can count the VGA Games, since those People dident stick to the Core of the Games.

If I was a programmer, and artist, I wish I could help build a KQ2 VGA closer to the original, maintaining the characters from the original, maybe only expand the game's diaologue in small ways, and somehow add a few new puzzles (but give an option to play it classic unaltered way as well).
Well, ya, King's Quest is on Earth. Daventry is very old city from a long time ago. It's in ruins now and people aren't quite sure exactly where it used to be. There are some archaeologists searching through the ruins, they think they know its Daventry. But its somewhere on Earth."-Roberta Williams http://kingsquest.wikia.com/wiki/File:Daventryisearth.ogg

They do work with the machines of today. Over the past couple of weeks I played KQ1-7 from the latest King's Quest Collection all on Windows 7 with the patches on www.sierrahelp.com. The only problem I had was an occasional KQ6 crash.
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

Well, it'd be Activision asking, not Vivendi, if anyone did so. They're the ones who own the IP now.

LOL@ Katie making a point while not answering the original question.

Personally I'm hoping to see commercial work done after TSL is done.  If Activision said Phoenix could do work with the other games, I'd like to see something commercial done.  Clearly the talent is there and the team deserves to start making money for their efforts.

True, but it's a question for the team, not just for one member. ;)
I'm with you, though. Of course, if the team did redo the rest of the games for Activision, I'd buy them in a heartbeat, but I'm also interested in seeing new adventure games and IPs. With all of the talent out there, surely someone, somewhere can come up with something just as good as King's Quest.
