Yep I did.  Uppity Winged Ones ruin it for everyone!  Though I guess it wasn't entirely his fault...

Still, just knowing that Graham is somehow going to get in there has me pretty excited.

Read all about it!

Also the gate is locked in the Garden screenshot.

Hmmm, and yet there we see Graham inside anyways....dun dun duh!

And...that's odd, the title image is wrong now. Hmm...I'll see about getting that fixed.

And it looks like the clinging vines have something Graham might need!  They'll be fun to deal with, I bet.  I'm sure they're just as needy and clingy and abandonment-fearing as always.

Ok, played through the Silver Lining, and had some time to think.

With all these theories, and the noted lack of Cedric at the wedding, I can only assume that the cloaked figure is Cedric.  He is a dark wizard who was defeated by Crispin, much in the same way that Alex defeated Mananan. When Crispin died, the spell was undone, and he went to screw with Grahm and his family.

Or not.

I actually think there are two evil wizards at work. The spell cast on Mananan  that turned him into a cat was stated to only be able to be undone by the one who cast it, namely Alexander. This is why I believe Alex was possessed and forced to walk upstairs, instead of being cursed on the stop like his sister was. Shadrack enchanted Alex to force him to undo the spell on Mananan, and then Mananan cursed Alex and Rosella. I could be wrong, but I don't know why Alex would wander away otherwise.

Wow, that would be awesome. The amont of Cedric hate on these boards is remarkable!

Strangely familiar figure, observing other characters while holding a sign that says that the end is nigh? It could only be...Rorschach!
Heard joke once: Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says "Treatment is simple. Great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says "But Doctor...I am Pagliacci." Good joke. Everybody laugh. Roll on snare drum. Curtains.

I found another piece of concept art of this guy. This concept art also identifies the "dark stranger" as "Ranger".

He's wearing a black cloak in that picture. Begs the question of whether the color of his cloak is relevant (whether he is with the Black Cloaks or the Silver Cloaks).

Maybe neither!

just that a cloak has a certain color doesn't mean that are automatically to a group that wears similar cloaks  ;)

I know, I'm just speculating. There's not much else to do until Episode 2 is released.  :-\

Yeah, doesn't Crispin wear a black cloak in KQV? ...or maybe he's the secret leader of the Black Cloak Society!  :o

And Rosella had to wear a black cloak in KQ7. Her falling into a coma is just a cover. She's really working for the Black Cloak Society. Is it any wonder that she's the only child who wasn't kidnapped by a wizard or a witch?  :suffer:

Well she was "sort of" kidnapped by Lolotte repeatedly in KQ4.  Not quite the same as what Alexander went through but she did do some slave labor there.

That's not a cloak. A cloak goes all the way around the body - for example, what Shadrack was wearing in the intro movie. I would classify his garb as a cape.

Therefore I would speculate that his character is not involved with the whole silver/black cloak thing.

I figure he's not a part of the Cloak Societies now, I just saw him in the game and had figured he was some sort of a wizard (transformation, at least) and came to the speculation that he belonged to the Silver Cloaks. I even saw the ending cinematic, and wondered why the stranger was watching Graham from outside after he had the vision of the prophecy and the war. I wasn't really basing my comment on anything factual, just a coincidental encounter. It's what was going through my mind at the time that I saw him in the game.

Of course, I am just speculating as well.

To paraphrase Freud: "Sometimes a cloak is just a cloak."

Right, good point. Then again, it's not even a cloak in the first place, haha.
