How to save/load game and other basics?

I've never played a Kings Quest game.  The silver lining looks fun and the price is right....however, I see no help file, or instructions.  It took me a while to figure out the right click changes your cursor to do other things than walk.  How do you save a game?  How to you return to the spot in the game where you left off (without having to watch the entire opening sequence again)?  If you click on an object, do you need to hear the same description again or can you bypass it?   Thanks for any help.

When you are playing the game, you can bring your cursor up to the top of the screen and have a bar drop down. This bar will have the 4 main interaction icons to the left and your inventory to the right. In the middle, there should be some coat of arms looking icon. If you click it, it will bring you to a menu that will allow you to save/load, quit, options, etc. On the main menu, there is a Restore option, which is just like loading up a game that is saved. As far as narration and descriptions for items, I'm pretty sure you can skip them. I forgot how I did it, but clicking the mouse, or hitting the Esc or Enter key might work.

You can also press F5 to bring up the Save menu or F7 to bring up the Load menu.
