Your ticket was closed because neither Wilco nor myself can actually repeat this with FRAPS.  I have successfully taken screenshots with FRAPS at every resolution the game has to offer so I'm not sure what the problem is, or if it is even a problem or just user error.  The only time I saw the black/blank screenshot effect was when I used Print Screen to try to take a screenshot to put into Paint, which you clearly know isn't going to work since you claim to be using Fraps to take the screenshots.

If you are having problems taking screenshots with Fraps, I'm afraid I'm going to have to refer you to Fraps technical support.
