They sang "Harder To Breathe", didn't they? I have a recording of that song on tape, it's pretty cool. I haven't gotten to listen to much else of their music (at least, not that I know of) yet, though. Been kind of rusty on "modern music" lately... I spend most of my time listening to my musical and game soundtracks. They inspire me while working on my projects.

I still think theyre kind of cheesy from what I've heard. When I saw them live they acted all kinda rock but the lead singer just doesnt fit in with it at all. Still "This Love" is really catchy and I think its growing on me.

Yeah, put me into the "Maroon 5 sucks" group too. I am definitely not a fan of the new pop-punk revolution. I liked some pop-punk in the early days, like Blink182, Midtown, The Ataris, and Newfound Glory, but the rest of the crap that's been spawned from their example (The Starting Line, Taking Back Sun-GAY, etc.) is just not good music at all.

For you and me, my brother, there is good wine poured in the inn at the end of the world.

Heh just wait till Busted come over to the USA. THEN you'll know that the genre formally called punk has been killed by a bunch of wannabe boyband rejects.

Punk is still very alive and kicking.

We just don't hear about punk, because it's NOT mainstream and in the media.

It might just be a little harder to find these days, as this pop-punk stuff comes out.

IMHO, punk is only slightly above rap, which is not very high at all.
She's back. She's proud. She will overcome!

Musical tastes... hmmm... not really into music all that much... ;)

All music has it's good points... especially when you get to MAKE it.  It's like sports. What you might not enjoy WATCHING, it's a helluva lotta fun PLAYING.  Like Rap and Hip-Hop.  They don't have many rules to follow, so you can go pretty crazy.

As for listening to... R&B, Rock, Soul are great in the FREEDOM they have... Classical is beautiful in it's POWER and PRECISION... but for my money, close the TV, shut the Computer, put away the Books, turn down the lights and put on some JAZZ.  Listen to Harry Connick, Jr. play the piano or Miles Davis blow the horn while that someone special (still looking) rests her head on your shoulder... Ummm... That's what music is ALL about.
