There is something to day about monotheism, LOL.

Hmm, also considering how dysfunctional Titania's family is, I think we can understand what made Malicia such a  b--witch'...
Well, ya, King's Quest is on Earth. Daventry is very old city from a long time ago. It's in ruins now and people aren't quite sure exactly where it used to be. There are some archaeologists searching through the ruins, they think they know its Daventry. But its somewhere on Earth."-Roberta Williams http://kingsquest.wikia.com/wiki/File:Daventryisearth.ogg

Ok, so I'm a little confused here. Is Mab another sister or she separate fairy?

...

Is there another reference that connects Mab to the fates or WOD?

I don't think there's anything in game that connects Mab to the extended ruling family.

I think the real history was that Edgar isn't really Obertitan's son... they kidnapped him from someone else, :p... This might explain why all of his "relatives" could care less if he gets kidnapped by someone else, as he was never related to them. It might also explain why he's said to be "human" in KQ4 related material.

By real history, do you mean real world references to Oberon and Titania (and their interest in changelings, etc.)? ??? I think in game, it's heavily implied that in the KQ universe, Edgar is their biological son. As for his lack of green skin, he just takes after his dad's side of the family (whoever they are). References to him as a human can be easily explained in two ways: 1) look at Genesta and her entourage--a pretty striking feature there would be the wings--and 2) since he looks human, why assume he's a wingless fairy person from another dimension when he could just as easily be human. On top of which, I think the only thing clear from the end of KQ4 is that there wasn't exactly a plan for Edgar at the time... which reminds me... what about that KQ4 remake, eh? *wanders off on the internet for a little bit*

The secret is who controls Edgar will rule the world. He is the living embodiment of Macguffin. Rosella will now be able to rule the universe (well she could if she wasn't in a coma). Shadrack was trying to prevent that from happening.
hrmm... but why wouldn't Shadrack have taken Edgar with him then, after all everyone else has kidnapped him?

Delling it was an attempt at a joke  :P... Which apparently fell flat.  :wall:

Also if were going to talk about the game, Genesta actually assumed green was his natural color (apparently there must be "green humans"  :P), LOL. She just changed him something that reflected his heart (personality).

But ya I agree, I don't think they had any future plans when they made KQ4. I think several sources assumed that Edgar was Lolotte's biological son until the release of KQ7. I think even KQ6 (about button) stated he was Lolotte's son.

Peter Spear assumed back in first edition of King's Quest Companion, that he was the 'human' son of the fairy Lolotte and a human mariner of Tamir. That would technically make him "half-fairy" from that perspective, but for some reason just being believed to be partial human is enough to be considered "human".

Granted its always possible that Faery Nobles are a variant human race (long lived and god like compared to non magical humans).

Quotehrmm... but why wouldn't Shadrack have taken Edgar with him then, after all everyone else has kidnapped him?
But whose to say he wouldn't have attempted it? He just got surprised by Saladin, and had to flee before he could do it.

Oh... well, it was sandwiched between obvious not-joke and obvious joke... also you spend a lot more time researching this than I do... I thought perhaps you knew something there that I didn't. :-X (and it would have been helpful for the running gag that is Edgar's numerous (read: 2) abductions (ok, maybe 3 if you count Genesta just pulling him over at the end of KQ4 and letting him stay on her island for a while)).

Hmm, you know what would also be kind of funny? If Edgar's green skin was actually his natural skin color, as Genesta assumed, LOL. He took after his mother, Titania, and Genesta screwed up, although fixing his deformities, chose to screw up his skin color.

But with white skin, he'll at least be able to bathe!

C'mon, you know the other way to kill Lolotte was with a bucket!

You say green people are dirty and don't bathe, you racist ;).

If they do melt, Titania is screwed. Sitting out in the rain :p

Oh, that's true....

Maybe she's SUPER depressed right now? Edgar's upset, her almost-daughter-in-law is in a coma, and she's not in Etheria. I'd be depressed. :P
