This all looks like awesome news - it's great to know that with all the feedback, you guys are set to make the series even better as it goes on (even though I never had any qualms, per se, except for the subtitles, but they've been fixed!).  Loving it!

Good to know! Here's my 2 cents:

1. Long narration issue: The only problem I had with this is that it gave me an unnatural vibe. When you try to explain all the character's motives with this long backstory in the narration when you click on something, it seems less like an authentic game and more like fan fiction.

2. The run option: Wouldn't it just be easier to add a game speed option like all the other KQ games? I guess running would be ok, but that way everyone can customize exactly how fast they want the game to run, instead of just having a choice between 2 extremes.

3. The length: Does the 4 hours mean that they just played through it and watched every cutscene? Or does it mean that they tried to enjoy it to its fullest and clicked on everything to listen to all the descriptions?

The only downside is, I may have to wait to play at because I don't have my own computer at school. The school network doesn't let us download anything. So I'll have to play it at home.

With a game in full 3D it does make more sense to have a proper run option with a matching animation - just having him walk faster would look really strange (believe me, we had that implemented for a while).  And his regular walking looks far more normal now as well.  The running isn't going to be blinding fast like turning up the walk speed all the way in old game, but it will be a bit quicker.

As for the time - most of the new testers playing through the game did spend some of that time just talking to other characters - that's a given as Episode 2 will still have quite a bit of dialogue, though a lot of it is optional - but the vast majority of that average time was actual gameplay time working on solving puzzles and progressing through the episode.

'patch' will probably come with episode 2, so when you download it it will be applied to episode 1 aswell (not sure though)

Thanks so much for the update. It is all fantastic news and I think you chose exactly the right time to release the information. As a fan of the series but someone who has never hard out followed TSL, I was just beginning to check here less frequently but this update will keep me coming back!! Love your work!

Massive likes on this one. In fact, the one I cared least about was the September release date. If the feedback's been taken aboard and the game's as promising as it sounds, you could release it at Christmas for all I care. Keep up the good work!

Widescreens and running, yes.  The narrations I'd have to check on.  And you're getting another whole Episode that's significantly longer to begin with, so there's not really much need to add something specific just to Episode 1 now is there?

I thought I did so above, but to be super-clear - yes when you download and install Episode 2 it will make some modifications to Episode 1 as well.
