Graham appears to be wearing Levi's in that first shot.

He looks like a lumberjack....

He probably works all day.
Well, ya, King's Quest is on Earth. Daventry is very old city from a long time ago. It's in ruins now and people aren't quite sure exactly where it used to be. There are some archaeologists searching through the ruins, they think they know its Daventry. But its somewhere on Earth."-Roberta Williams http://kingsquest.wikia.com/wiki/File:Daventryisearth.ogg

LOL, oh man! Yeah, we tried to slightly touch up his look and the overwhelming feedback was just that, Weldon--why is Graham wearing jeans?

Far indeed! I saw an image that was the very first 3D concept, I think, from when Rich pitched his case to make the game 3D in the first place. I should see if I can find that, 'cause wow, what a difference!

That's truly a piece of history. I would really love to see it if you can find it.

LOL, thanks for sharing, Doon. :) What a crack up to see the amazing differences...especially Graham's cowboy pants. :P

Hmm fascinating looking at the oracle scene it appears graham is dipping his hands in the sacred pool.

You guys actually intended on him looking like that? Or did you mean it was an accident that he had his shirt tucked in? Just wondering.

KatieHal

I believe the idea was to make his tunic less tunic-like and more shirt-like, and in the end it just looked like he was wearing jeans.

I can't really understand the logic behind why you'd want to do that, to be perfectly honest.  I mean, wouldn't that clearly make him look much LESS like a fantasy character?  ;)  Then again, I suppose that's why it didn't make the cut.  :)

Actually, come to think of it, considering you guys are going for the "dark fantasy" route, I'm surprised you didn't pull a Twilight Princess Link-type update of his costume, with a visible chainmail layer underneath and rougher stitching and stuff.

You really do love heated debates, huh, Lambonius? :P Or in this case, maybe I should say trying to get one going. ;)

I couldn't say what the process was behind the idea, not being in on it at the time, but it was obviously ditched--and just as obvious, I should think, is that we were never going to stray that far from Graham's classic outfit.

Heh--sometimes I just can't help myself.  ;)

Actually, I think a Zelda Twilight Princess-inspired revamp of the Graham outfit would make for an interesting concept piece--I always had a hard time believing the idea of Graham as a knight--it'd be interesting to see him in some kind of costume that incorporated armor elements.  Anyway--I was just speculating.  Looking back at my earlier comment, I realize it maybe came off as kinda snarky and sarcastic.  Not really my intention in this particular case, so I'm sorry about that--but then I certainly admit to a bit of rabble-rousing from time to time.  :)

I have been meaning to ask, im not sure on how much you guys know about Rigging Characters and Scenes from Games, then Use them through Pictures with Other Characters for Fun.

Could we Rig TSL and Use them for Fun, you guys should See the Images we use at the tombraiderforums

From Resident Evil Characters to Final Fantasy Characters and Mario Characters, we even have a Sonic the Hedghog Character.

If i have an Owl and Graham Character, i would do a Scene where Graham is Cooking his Lunch: Graham Watch Out, a Poisonus Bird.  :P

No problem, Lambonius. :)

It would be kinda interesting to see Graham in actual armor, from his younger days though. Get to see just how dashing a knight Graham was!
