Welcome to the forums, davidh! And thanks--we're quite excited to. :) As I see you noticed elsewhere, we are getting close to Episode 2, so there's one advantage to coming in a bit late to the party, you don't have to wait as long for the next installment! :)

The wait is excruciating. Why did I have to jump in so soon?  :wall:

Hey, it's not easy for us, either. We have to keep everything a secret! I want to see everyone's reactions to how cool episode 2 is! :-\

Oh, and welcome, davidh! :D

Oh, you will, I'm sure. Day one of Episode 2's release, this forum will be blazing with questions and Suffers. Then we'll have to play the same routine till Episode 3 is released.  :-\

But overall, there will be many people stating their opinions (hopefully positive opinions) and their reactions to Episode 2, myself included. That's what I can't wait for. Actually stating what I think of the Episode and the direction that the series is taking.  ;)

I think (and hope) the reaction to Episode 2 will be a lot more positive. Obviously you're never going to make everyone happy, but I think it feels more King's Quest-y - particularly in that there is some actual questing to be done! :D

I'm hoping people will enjoy the easter eggs, too. They're pretty funny! :suffer:

Yep.  I think it's fair to say that the critical and public reception of Episode 2 will define the success or failure of TSL as a whole.  The mostly negative reception of Episode 1 was tempered by the knowledge that it was meant as more of a teaser episode, so if Episode 2 bombs, that's pretty much going to be it as far as critical success for the series.
