A little old news, but apparently Activision CEO Bobby Kotick was a Sierra fan

According to this, in a February interview with Game informer, Kotick said he was addicted to Sierra games in college. Sad that a guy like him forgot his roots, seeing as he's the guy who put Sierra as a brand name out of business.
