I recently finished Magician: Master,
Good books! Read the 25 books or so that are in the Riftwar Cycle so far last year. Took a while, but enjoyed them.

1984 is awesome.

I haven't read much lately... I think the last book I read was interview with the vampire. or was it the last book of the Mayfair Witches? Anyhow, nothing like the first book of the Mayfair saga. That was truly good.

before that I read The Lovely Bones, which was very good. I guess my fav book is still One Hundred Years of Solitude. The Perfume is also excellent.

I'm interested in reading "Never Let Me Go".

History buff in general. Most of my books are history books.
I wish I could have a home library full of all genres of books. I want to get more into horror fiction, like EC Comics and Steven King, and Medieval stories and histories, and science fiction.

Not really reading anything atm, nor have I been for a couple months, which is unusual for me. Thinking of rereading the Homecoming Saga by Orson Scott Card though, picked up the entire series for really cheap awhile ago.
Started to post that I was reading this series, then found this post from back when I bought them. Started reading them about a week ago, now 3 books through with 2 to go.  :D

Currently reading: The Anatomy of Melancholy. It has over 1000 pages. This will take a while.
Also, currently reading "Winter", a long poem by James Thomson. It was written in about 1725, describes the power, cruelty and beauty of Winter and is considered a proto-Romantic work :D (which means it really, really, really likes nature, not that it's about Romance. (Although "Romance", strictly speaking, means a medieval tale about knights, often in French, rather than love.))

I heard the Wheel of Time series was good so I just started reading the first one earlier this week.  I got a lot read while I was out of town on my camping trip but now that I'm back I'm really busy again so we'll see how it goes.

Read those back in middle school, at least the ones that were out back then. Loved them at the time but I'm waiting for the whole series to be out before I go back, reread, and finish the series. Just hope Brandon Sanderson can pull off finishing it up okay.

The appropriateness of this juxtaposition just occurred to me! XD (It's a 1000 page book about depression.)

However, the description of it doesn't make it sound depressing at all which ruins the fun.
The medical physics people down the desks from me are discussing the properties of the bladder and the rectum... I kid you not... sorry for the randomness... but it was weird and a little disturbing... we now return you to our regularly scheduled post
Anywho, I should be reading review articles which are 30+ pages in length and talk about stars and stuff... instead, I've just gone to sleep for the last two nights--I'm tired.

Yeah, it'll either cure melancholy (if you like his grandfatherly style) or send you over the edge
