Hi, forgive me if someone else posted this, but I can't seem to find a solution.

-> What kind of CPU/Processor you are using in your computer.

Intel Atom Z530 1.60 GHz

-> Amount of physical RAM you have installed on your computer.

1 GB

-> What kind of Video Card you have installed in your computer (manufacturer, card model name).

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 500

-> Operating System you are using.

Windows XP

-> A brief description of the bug, error, or problem along with what you were doing when it occurred.

The application, when I double click on the icon, acts like it's going to start, even turns my screen black as if opening, but then the screen goes back to normal and the game never starts. I have tried every combination of check boxes, full screen (or not), resolutions, and audio selections available, and I still am not able to start the game. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Heidi

Could you check and see how much video memory that computer has and what version of video driver you have?  You can find this information by running DXDIAG from the Windows Run option in the Start Menu.  Look on the display tab and it'll give you both of those pieces of data.  Thanks!

The graphics card is Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 500, and the video says 8.0 MB, but I don't think any video would run at all with such little memory, would it?

That amount of of VRAM is way below the system requirements. Perhaps you can try another computer?

That's extremely odd, I don't even think XP would run with that level of video memory so maybe it's misreporting the amount that you have.

Try just running the configuration tool and setting everything as minimal as possible - uncheck the fullscreen box, set it to 800x600, and set the detail level to low with all of the extras boxes unchecked.

Yes, there's a separate executable you can launch before running TSL to do that.

OH!  that's what TSLConfig.exe is!

it doesn't work on linux.  that's the one problem with running it through Wine.

you can still change the settings in the game.

I did uncheck everything and run it at 800x600, and still nothing. I don't have another computer right now. Oh well :(

Try visiting the manufacturer's website and see if you can get an updated video driver from them.  It may help or it may not depending on how much video memory that computer actually has.
