Just finished my first rune through of episode 1. Not very hard but fun and I love the ending.

I think I am going to get all the King's Quest games. I have the 8th but I never got very far in it.

The 8th game can be hard, especially if your not accustomed to fighting games like that. It certainly took me a while. The main reason for that was because of all the bugs and the fighting itself.

And yes, episode 1 is pretty short and not that hard, but I can tell you that Episode 2 is much different in that regard.

If you can't afford them on GOG then you probably won't be able to anywhere else, that price is a steal.

Just make sure the games work. The GOG.com games are all guaranteed to work. Getting them elsewhere may require some technical knowledge.

Yes, that's the main part to watch for - newer systems have a lot of trouble running some of these older games unless you know a decent amount about tweaking them.

If only it were dial-up... That would probably make this go even faster. I'm at college, so it's the network here that's doing it. There's probably a couple hundred people all connected to the internet at once. The internet also likes to crash on me at any given moment. I swear, this internet connection will be the end of me... And I'm in a web design major! Can you say ironic much!

My internet is pretty bad, and it's just at my house.

I was down to 56k at times downloading.  mostly in the low 60 range.  took hours.

Apparently, mine is at like 24.6 KB/S... That's the slowest speed I've ever seen!

I once got down to a couple hundred BYTES per second, yes, B/s...now that's hard to beat.
