ÜBER SPOILER ALERT! The link below contains a complete walkthrough for Episode 2. Check the other hints threads first before resorting to this.

Just so that you understand what you're getting into, the password to the walkthrough is "spoilers".

UH,OH, How do I get a "password" in order to access the full walkthrough?

wilco64256

The password is the word spoilers.

Thank you so much for that password

I believe that this is the absolute most efficient way of beating Episode 2 (I'm a bit obsessed with speed runs), but if I'm wrong, I'll gladly modify the walkthrough.

Nope I believe that's as basic as it can get, but I'd recommend that anybody following it also explore around and talk to people - there's a lot of storyline out there and other items to obtain that are either just totally extra or could potentially be useful in later episodes.

Of course. The first time I played Episode 2, I went everywhere and did everything, and that's what I'd recommend doing before consulting the walkthrough.

Ok, that password is definitely fitting lol. When I have my copy done downloading, I'll consult the walkthrough to test everything out.

OK, now how do I buy the map and the candy from Ali? There is no dialogue for these choices?. Looks like I'm stuck ALREADY!. Thanks again,

Well, what do merchants usually want in exchange for their goods?

You don't actually buy those items from Ali, you buy them from the merchants who sell them.

Sandy, sometimes you have to move from place to place before doing the actions listed on my walkthrough. The merchants you seek are in the village square, across from Ali's bookshop.

Thanks for these hints. Maybe I should get out and explore some more. If I remember correctly, in the original story(KQ6), the candy and map came from the pawnbroker. However, at this point, the Pawnbroker's shop is closed. Do I backtrack to other places and then come back to the Pawnbroker's shop? OK, my next step is a little more exploration.  LATER!

Try walking directly AWAY from the bookshop and pawn shop, towards those bushes over there.  And then keep going in that direction.

I did some more "exploring", found the Magic Map, found the CANDY, and went on from there to finish the game, thanks to Kindofdoon's excellent walkthrough, and all the help from everybody as well. You KNOW who you are. I noticed that there were so many things to click on throught the episode. It was SO much fun getting the "cute" remarks from the narrator. The graphics and the sounds, and the special effects were SPECTACULAR. My PC OS is WIN XP, and the game played flawlessly. Many KUDOS to all the folks at Phoenix Online who were instrumental in producing this magnificent game. I'f I can help ANYBODY with HINTS, please let me know. Now I'm going to sleep. It's 2:30 in the morning.  I can't wait till Episode 3 is released. (Well, I guess I will HAVE TO wait.)

Happy I could help, Sandy. I'm very glad to hear that you enjoyed it so much.

I think the walkthrough missed something.
I seemed to get a point for taking fresh water, obtained from the marketplace, to revive the vines I weakened with salt water. It made the point noise, at any rate.
wilco64256

Right, this walkthrough is just for the critical gameplay elements, no extras that aren't absolutely necessary for finishing the episode.
Weldon Hathaway

Yes, it's meant to be the absolute most efficient way to complete the episode and nothing more.
