It's by the ''Authors of Wikipedia'', eh?
Since I wrote much of what comprises the current entry on Wikipedia about the KQ series in general, I think I need a royalty check  :P

Well, ya, King's Quest is on Earth. Daventry is very old city from a long time ago. It's in ruins now and people aren't quite sure exactly where it used to be. There are some archaeologists searching through the ruins, they think they know its Daventry. But its somewhere on Earth."-Roberta Williams http://kingsquest.wikia.com/wiki/File:Daventryisearth.ogg

Hah hah!

Yeah, for the KQ series basic article, I wrote the whole section on the characters and on good and evil, as well as the part which demonstrates how King's Quest takes in and uses a lot of very varied mythology stories and some of the mythological creatures which feature in the series.
I didn't write the individual articles for each game at all, but quite a bit of the main "King's Quest series" page.

I've edited that article many times myself.

I think there is something wrong when people are making a profit off of wikipedia material...

It seems like a form of plagiarism.

Plagiarism is "the unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work."
Since they're claiming that the book is written by the blanket author "The authors of Wikipedia" then I guess they're sort of avoiding that, but even so, making a profit off of it is, I agree, shady at best, unless they're writing their own material and using Wikipedia to supplement it (which, judging from the subtitle, I doubt).
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!
