I present Cheese Graham! (view full size to see his true Swiss glory)

Not very happy with the end result, but every texture change takes about 5 minutes to compile...

More ideas, please?

Dude, that's AWESOME! And it took you a much shorter time than I had expected...

Ok, let me think... Um, how about terminator graham? NO, WAIT! Borg Graham! Or, if you can, Sim graham (I imagine getting the green plumbob above his head may be difficult to do... But if you can pull it off, high five!)

I haven't figured out how to actually change or make shapes yet, just textures, sounds, text, and other minor things. It's very difficult, and I have no programs that can handle that sort of thing.

I really like the Borg Graham idea. I also decided that I'm going to be...re-decorating his bedroom. Stay tuned.

Has the borg queen finally found her match? I somehow feel that Kings Quest is going to leap lightyears ahead of the current time period.

She met her match with Captain Picard I think... Although I would LOVE to see Sisko confront the Borg Queen (Yes, I am a trekkie and proud of it!)

I don't know, DD. Supposedly Picard killed her in the 21th century right before the first warp flight but what about Janeway. She killed the borg queen too in Star Trek: Voyager.

Will the real Borg Queen please stand up?

Couldn't resist the KQ reference.

I started work on redoing Graham's bedroom...I must say, I have newfound respect for the team. I knew that making a game from scratch is hard, but this, this is HARD. Not to mention time-consuming.

Doon, I like you. You are an up beat person and nothing seems to phase you. Make sure you keep that quality no matter what. I'll also try to keep the philosophical stuff to a minimum next time, but thought you should know that.

Cheese Graham has just increased my faith in cheesism tenfold. I may even have to go to Cheesism seminary now.

Thank you. I try. :)

Cheese Graham kind of looks like he has jaundice and some sort of pox. :P Still, I'm impressed - I wouldn't have a clue how to do that, even with access to the original files. I'm mystified by how they map the 2-D textures onto 3-D models.

The team uses Maya - I think that's what they use for this. There is a personal learning edition, but I don't know if it will do this sort of thing.

Agreed! I think DS9 (and Avery Brooks, in particular) was seriously underrated!

DS9 is by far my favorite star trek series. I loved TNG, I really did, but DS9 just resonated so much more with me. I mean, sisko is amazing. I will bow down and obey sisko's every command. I do love him. He is my favorite of all the captains. Besides, he's got the coolest nick name in all of star trek history: The Sisko! I could go on and on about DS9, but I think I'm going to create a thread later on for a more in depth discussion of star trek in general. Stay tuned for said thread later today (I'm typing this message on my iPod touch in finagle a bagel. Not the best location to be typing a long forum response...)

I've just noticed that my post count is high enough that I can name historical events that happened on my post count's year! I like history, so I thought we could make this fun/interesting. How's about a game then?
