The "Identify the Screenshot" Game!

This is a nice little game I stole from the AGDI forum

Game rules:
I'm posting a distorted screenshot from some adventure game. Whoever identifies the game and the screenshot location in it, gets to be the next to post a distorted screenshot of his/her own! And whoever identifies THAT screenshot gets to post another one... and so on and so forth.
If no one guesses correctly, the poster of the screenshot can give hints/a less distorted screenshot

This is a short int eh dark, but this vaguely reminds me of the opening screen in QFG1 (ya knowm, teh entrance to the town?)...but pleas dont laugh at me if that's totally wrong, seeing how I'v never played QFG, except a teeny bit of the 1st, and the 5th.

A couple more guesses and I'll give a less distorted pic... I get a feeling that not many people around here know this game

Yeah...that's why i said I didn't like it.  I mean, I don't have even the slightest of clues of what that might be.

two ppl on podiums but i dont know what its from , also looks like there is a camera up the top of the picture, but still dont know what its from

It's from Space quest 3, when you go into the area to battle the ScumSoft owner!

hmmmm don't know many mosaic games ; ) ....but it looks like two monks (in robes) with a church like backround (ie. a window or so) lol, I have no idea ; /

Something tells me I've seen it before...

It appears like 2 guardian lion statues are on the podiums.

the red thing to the left of the center looks like a crate of apples or tomatoes.

the whole thing sort of looks almost like an alley or the entrance to a small town or marketplace.

the yellow thing in the center looks like a light.

So, even though I cant guess where it's from, am I even REMOTLEY close Storm?

Well, you were right about the center thing being a light... and those are (sort of) two podiums. The other guesses are way out there

I see a guy in the middle holding up a sword, eclipsing the light. Or a torch. Or something. Maybe I'm completely wrong.

no.. no... you all are way off... Its a planetarium with a sun in the center, and model planets... If i had to guess the game, itd one of The Adventure Game company games, or Myst... the graphics seem remeniscent of em...

yes!! it looks like a planetarium to me too.... but the only planetarium i can recall in an adventure game would be the one in ff7.... and s\this doesn't look like it

Yeah, I remember that planeterium too... in fact, I think the only other one I remember in a game was from Castle of Doctor Brain.... which that picture aint...

Hmmm...yeah, I agree it looks planetarium-esque...but I don't recognize it beyond that. I have no idea, I'm afraid.

Not from Myst though - I've never played Myst.
